Group 6: The Arts

Students may choose the Visual Arts course, a second subject from Group 3 or a second science.  Visual Arts offers a rich experience for the students; it combines individual art making practice with comparative study of the works of different artists and curatorial practice. Assessment is carried out externally through the submission ofa comparative investigation and a process portfolio, and internally through an exhibition of student artwork. “The IB Diploma Programme visual arts course encourages students to challenge their own creative and cultural expectations and boundaries.” (DP Visual art guide IBO 2014).
